Day 1:ARRIVE IN HANOI (D).
Arrive in Hanoi. Our staff will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Free for leisure or city tour, as time permits. O/N in Hanoi.

 Day 2:HANOI (B,L,D)
Full day Hanoi city tour: History museum, Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple, Old Quarter of Hanoi with busy trade streets, Literature temple, (part temple, part university, paying tribute to the scholars of Vietnam), Tran Quoc pagoda, Ethnological museum... At night enjoy water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 3:HANOI - HA LONG BAY (B,L,D). 165km
Morning visits to One-pillar pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum if interested...then drive to Ha Long bay, voted a world natural heritage. O/N in Ha Long. Note: you can also choose to overnight on a charming wooden boat which promises more romantic and extraordinary experiences

Day 4:HA LONG - HANOI (B,L,D). 165km
Morning boat cruise in Ha Long bay, running through pretty numerous islands. Stop to see Thien Cung and Dau Go grottos. Lunch on the boat. Afternoon drive back to Hanoi for O/N in Hanoi.

Day 5:HANOI - LUANG PRABANG (B,L,D). 1hour flight
Fly to Luang Prabang, ancient capital of Laos. Visit the National museum (where was the former Royal Palace), Wat Mai and Phousi mountain (old temple on a panoramic view mountain), the night colorful market. O/N in Luang Prabang

Day 6:LUANG PRABANG (B,L,D)
Boat cruise on the Mekong river to visit Pak Ou caves, where has thousands of Buddha statues and Ban Phanom weaving village. O/N in Luang Prabang.

Day 7:LUANG PRABANG - VIENTAINE (B,L,D). 50’ flight
Fly to Vientaine. Visit Wat Sisaket, Wat Hor Phrakeo, the former house of emerald Buddha and Thatluang Stupa (the great sacked stupa). O/N in Vientiane.

Day 8:DEPARTURE (B)
Transfer to the airport for departure.
